All Star Baseball

Mint Hill All Star Program:

Mint Hill Athletic Association participates in the traditional Little League All Star program. These teams are chosen and participates in LL tournaments throughout the summer. MHAA has had a rich history and great success within the state of North Carolina representing District 3.

MH All Star teams are selected using the following format each and every spring season: Coaches from each division are required to submit a "watch list" to be complied by the player agent and then re-distributed to the coaches in their particular division. These are players that the coaches feel have represented MH and themselves through sportsmanship and a particular skill set.  Towards the end of the Spring Season the coaches for that age group will then meet with MH Baseball Board members to nominate and vote on the players for their age division.

Participating in All-Stars is a choice should your child be selected. While it is a privilege to participate, it is also a commitment with added practices and games. Practices begin towards the end of the spring season and often occur daily leading up to tournament play. Missing a few practices and even a game does not necessarily prevent selection to All-Stars; however missing an entire week takes an opportunity away from another player who could commit to preparing with the team. If you realize that your child has several conflicts during the All-Star tournament schedules, it may be a wise decision to pass on a tournament selection.

All Star Players must meet the Little League Residency and School Attendance Eligibility Check List.  CLICK HERE for information regarding the criteria.

Mint Hill Baseball will field All Star Team in as many divisions as possible, we reserve the right to not offer All Stars if the needed Coaches or Players cannot be formed in a particular division.
