Mint Hill, being a small community, brings friends and family together in an atmosphere of healthy competition to the best sport ever invented. Coaches, volunteers, and players make MHAA baseball second to none.  We strive every year to provide outstanding facilities, great experiences, and tremendous teamwork to an ever-evolving community and sport. Mint Hill Baseball was established in 1972, as a non-profit, 100% volunteer-run, baseball organization affiliated with Little League® Baseball. As a proud member of the Little League community, Mint Hill Baseball believes in the power of youth baseball  to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. Mint Hill Baseball is a member of Little League's North Carolina District 3 consisting of member organizations from the greater Charlotte metropolitan area.

USA Baseball, the National governing body for the sport of baseball in the United States, is adopting a new method for measuring bat performance in the testing of youth bats.  The new USA Baseball bat standard (USABat), was developed by a USA Baseball Committee of scientific experts.  Little League Baseball will adhere to the new bat standard, effective January 1, 2018.  The new bats will be available in September.  You can use your current LL approved bat throught the fall season.  Current bat regulations remain in effect until 12/31/17.  To be clear, if you decide to purchase a new bat make sure it conforms to the 2018 standards and has the USA and LL stamped approval. Keep in mind ALL players will brequired to have a new bat for the 2018 season that will meet the new USA Baseball 2018 bat standards.
